FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK.
Kitale School saw the hand of God this year. 2016 is a year that saw great changes in Kitale School and the entire Nation of Kenya. This is the year that great things happened in the school starting with the ECDE moving to its new site. We saw new classes at the ECDE, Primary and above it opened the ground floor of the Dormitory at the Primary.
In 2016, we registered the highest number of candidates – 227. The changes in the management of the national examinations was a blessing to us as a school. When many expected us to drop, God on our side proved faithful by giving us the highest number of pupils with 400 marks and above. As a school, we targeted a mean score of 363+ but God gave us 347. It was humbling to see 16 of our candidates appear in the news papers.
The school posted the best candidate in Trans-Nzoia County. The number of candidates that scored 400+ was 20 up from 16.

I wish to appreciate the Administration for the good co-ordination in 2016. We thank God that there was harmony and we stood by each other and the guidance given to teachers was admirable. Thanks to the class teachers for the good work done. We noted that a class teacher contributes greatly to the performance of a class. The support by the Parent Representatives was commendable and bore fruits. May God bless the PTA Representatives of class 8 – 2016. Mrs. Catherine Masinde emerged at the top. Congratulations Madam. May God renew your efforts.
Finally, on behalf of the Kitale School fraternity, I thank the Ministry of Education, Teachers Service Commission, Parents, the Board of Management under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chemengich and other stakeholders for the encouragement and support that saw the school perform well. We look forward to similar support in the year 2017.
I also wish all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year – 2017.
MAY GOD BLESS KITALE SCHOOL, MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
